We operate (5) Piper J3 Cubs on Aqua 1500 straight floats. Our Cubs, though originally built in the 1940's, have all undergone complete restorations by our veteran and highly skilled mechanics. Performance is surprising, thanks to upgraded powerplants producing nearly 100hp. With the option to fly with the doors completely open, simple and minimalistic systems and instrumentation, and the nostalgia of flying an iconic piece of American aviation history, this plane never ceases to put a smile on your face!
Our Piper Super Cub was originally built in 1958 and has since undergone a complete restoration here at our maintenance facility in the Spring of 2020. The Super Cub shares the tandem, stick configuration with the J3, but adds flaps, higher payload, more fuel capacity, a Lycoming 150hp powerplant, and moves the pilot seat to the front!
Train in one of the most iconic, 2-seat bush planes out there and experience water flying from the best seat in the house!
Our Maule M-7 Super Rocket began its life operating for hire in the Bahamas. We have since completely restored her back to a pre-saltwater condition. Touting a Lycoming O-540, 235 hp powerplant, the Maule presents a great platform for a high performance, complex seaplane trainer. Understanding systems, establishing flows, and importance of trimming make this airplane more of an advanced trainer.
